Welcome back to Blush & Camo! Back in March I cut my hair the shortest it’s been in years and six months later I’m still loving my short hair! It’s so much easier to upkeep, style, and maintain.
In today’s post I’m sharing 6 quick and easy hairstyles for short hair to give you some hair inspo if you’ve been in a rut recently!

LAYER YOUR BARRETTES
This takes just seconds to create, keeps your hair out of your face, and is SUPER CUTE!
Simply take two of your fave barrettes and clip them next to one another!
THROW ON A HAT
Short hair looks amazing with hats! They are perfect for the days when your hair simply doesn’t want to cooperate with you, or your on day 5 of dry shampoo (been there!).
SPACE BUNS
This hairstyle is so fun to wear instead of the traditional hair bun. Simply part your hair down the middle and put each section in a bun. I wore my hair like this a lot this past summer when I was at the pool!
For fall this would look cute with a chunky sweater or cardigan!
BEACH WAVES
Beachy waves is my go-to short hairstyle! It only takes a few minutes and your curls don’t need to look perfect. In fact, the messier the better!
I take a 1 in curling wand and wrap 1-2 inch sections of hair all around my head then shake all the curls loose.
HALF TOP KNOT
As I write this blog post my hair is currently styled in a half top knot! This hairstyle looks amazing on short hair.
Simply gather the top section of hair on your head and put into a bun. You can accessorize with a hair scarf or scrunchie to complete the hairstyle!
STYLE WITH A HEADBAND
Headbands are making a huge comeback this season and this cute hairstyle only takes a few seconds to create!
