Welcome back to Blush & Camo! I can’t believe it’s 2019 and I’m so excited for the year ahead. I’ve always been a believer in New Year’s resolutions and look forward to them every year. Today I wanted to share some New Year’s resolutions I have with you and also look back on the most popular posts from 2018.

NEW YEAR’S RESOLUTIONS
DO NOT BE AFRAID TO DREAM BIG
I tend to be my own worse critic and when I’m brainstorming ideas for the blog, or looking for companies to reach out to and I tend to bring myself down. I’ll have an idea for a blog post and then in my head I’ll think “Nobody is going to read that.” Or, I’ll want to contact to a brand and then I’ll think, “Why would they want to work with me.”
It’s horrible, I know! This year I am going to create a list of all my goals no matter how big or small and throughout the year slowly work towards them no matter what the voice in my head is telling me. It used to be a lot worse when I was younger and every year I make it my New Year’s resolution to be kinder to myself. This year I wanted to take it a step further and allow myself to dream as big as I want without fear.
MEET MORE BLOGGER BABES
Now that I am blogging full time I want to meet as many blogger babes as possible. When I was in the Army meeting other bloggers was very difficult since I was on such a strict schedule. Now, I have all the time I want to meet other amazing bloggers and connect!
I feel that meeting other women in the same industry is so important! These are the women you can bounce ideas off of, create content together, have someone to call and they know all the blogging lingo (and most likely can relate!), and overall support one another!
LEARN HOW TO CREATE VIDEOS
This is something I’ve been looking into for a few months now and one of my goals this year! I would love to create more video content for y’all this upcoming year on IGTV.
