Welcome back to Blush & Camo! I am starting a new series on my blog called the Monthly Edit. I created this series because I feel that in today’s marketing and social media we are constantly seeing clothing items, fall decorations, suede boots, pumpkin spice candles, the latest moisturizer, the newest eyeshadow palette we “need.”
Well, we don’t “need” them, but we may want them. It can get exhausting just to log into your email and see the loads of emails from brands showcasing their latest items. Or, going onto Instagram and seeing all the outfits women are wearing.
I also find it difficult as a blogger myself to keep up with all the “must have” items for fall. I’m definitely a girl on a budget and don’t have the funds to purchase every item I see another girl wearing (but I can dream, right?!).
So here’s where Blush & Camo steps in!
I created this post to narrow down, and share, three items you may want to purchase this upcoming month. I will also be linking these items at various price points!

OVER THE KNEE BOOTS
Over the knee boots are a fall staple and look amazing paired with many types of bottoms to include: jean skirts, suede skirts, maxi dresses or skirts, and jeans!
These boots are versatile and make your legs look a mile long. This is a guilt-free item, meaning if you splurge on them you will definitely get your money’s worth because you can wear them for both fall and winter and season after season!
October is the perfect time to style them and wear in cute pics when you go to a pumpkin patch, football game, or haunted house!

MUSTARD HUED SWEATER
I talked about this hue in my Instagram Stories last week, but this color is taking over fall clothing items and I’m totally here for it! This color looks great when paired with other fall toned colors such as camel brown, black, grey, red, and rust items.
Currently, I have five mustard hued items in my closet and they are the pieces I reach for the most!
GRAPHIC TEES
Graphic tees are making a statement this season! The best way to style these tees is under a cozy cardigan, or to style a chic look, layer this tee under a blazer. The best part about graphic tees this season is there are so many to choose from at varying price points! I will link my personal faves below.
