Hello, Gorgeous! Today on the blog I’m sharing my top 4 trends I hope continue into 2017 beacause they are #EVERYTHING. Ok, so maybe they aren’t everything, but they are super fun to style and incorporate into tons of looks. And if we are being perfectly honest with each other I think they should be highly considered closet #staples (in my humble, fashion opinion!).
So these are the top 4 trends I hope are here to stay for 2017!
TOP 4 TRENDS TO KEEP IN 2017
1.) THE COLOR BLUSH
This hue has had MAJOR staying power since 2014 and there is absolutely no sign of this trend slowing down anytime soon (thank God!). The reason why this hue needs to keep trending in 2017 is because of how feminine it instantly makes any look. Plus, this hue can be found on literally any piece of clothing or accessories making this trend easy to style for any women’s personal style.
Affordable, inclusive, and easy to style?! Blush tones, you need to stick around for another year (or five!).
2.) BLOCK HEELS
Block heels are making a major comeback since emerging in the 90s and I am beyond happy about this! Block heels make walking in pumps sooooo much easier and who doesn’t want that? Plus, there is something so chic about a block heel that instantly elevates any look. It’s an understated chic, but can really pull an entire look together.
I never wore heels until this year when I added two pairs to my wardrobe (both block heels!) and I don’t plan on stopping this trend anytime soon. This is another trend that really needs to stick around for 2017!
3.) BELL SLEEVES
The trend that completely took over this year (and I would argue was the top trend for 2016!) was the bell sleeve. It’s feminine, fun, and chic- all adjectives you want to describe an amazing trend. This trend is found on blouses, sweaters, and dresses. The best part about this trend is you can wear it for both day and night! Oh, and this trend can be super exaggerated or really subtle depending on your personal style.
4.) VELVET
The 90s are coming back in a big way and can I just say that I want all the 90s trends to permanently become wardrobe classics?! Velvet was a huge 90s trend that is back and I adore it. The reason why this trend is so amazing is because of how luxe this material instantly makes any outfit.
My favorite way to wear this trend is on shoes and handbags. It’s not too overwhelming and just the right amount of luxe for day or night.
