I graduated from West Point in 2013 and upon graduating commissioned as a Second Lieutenant in the Army. While at my first duty station in Fort Lewis, WA I quickly decided I needed a creative outlet and wanted to start blogging! There was only one problem- I was deploying to Afghanistan in 4 months.
So, I packed all the blogging books I could find from “Blogging 101” to “Blogging For Dummies” and spent all my free time learning about how to start a blog! Two months after I redeployed home my blog officially launched in February of 2015. I’ve been creating content ever since!
I got out of the Army in 2018, and went full time into creating content. My family recently renovated my husband’s childhood home, and we are so excited to call Denver Colorado home.
When I’m not creating content you can usually find me baking with my daughter Roman, playing with our three dogs, or at a local coffee shop. I love coffee, seasonally decorating our home, organizing, and cooking at home.
