Happy Wednesday Blush Babes! Remember last week’s post (click here) when I did a hair tutorial on creating a dutch fishtail side braid?! Today I am going to share three ways to style this braid because let’s be honest, sometimes we sleep in the braids we created for the day, wake up the next morning, and don’t want to touch it. I’ve totally been there so that’s why today’s post was created!
I say take those extra zzz’s AND still have a new cute hairstyle for work! Let’s get started! The first hairstyle is..
1.) THE FISHTAIL PONY
This super easy updo will take you under a minute and creates an all new hairstyle incorporating the fishtail braid. Simply throw up all your hair into a pony and for an extra chic look- wrap your hair around your hairband so all you see is hair!
Bonus: You can choose to leave the fishtail hairband in the pony, or you can take it out and have the fishtail come undone throughout the day!
2.) THE HALF UP HALF DOWN HAIRSTYLE
In this hairstyle you will take the side of hair which doesn’t have a braid and twist a section of hair until you reach the back of your head.
Then, you will take both the twisted section of hair and the fishtail braid and tie both together into a half-up half-down hairstyle!
Take the hairband out of the fishtail and have the braid come undone throughout the day!
3.) PUT A BOW ON IT
Feeling extra feminine one morning?! Take your fishtail braid and throw a hair bow on it for an ultra feminine feel. This takes about 20 seconds to complete, but give your hairstyle a whole new look!
