To say I am a huge Taylor Swift fan would be an understatement! I’m pretty sure I know every single lyric to all her songs (#noshame). So when I recently saw a picture of Taylor Swift wearing this adorable outfit I knew I had to recreate it for three reasons to include…
1.) I am a huge Swifty.
2.) This outfit was BEYOND adorable.
3.) The items she had on were closet #staples that just about any women owns in her closet!
4.) If you had the opportunity to look similar to T. Swift.. you take it!
So today I am giving you the outfit breakdown and how to style this look! Let’s get started from the top (literally!).
HAIR ACCESSORY
In Taylor’s look she was wearing a bandanna, which I absolutely adore. There is something so cute and approachable about a woman wearing a bandanna!
Most of my friends have a bandanna laying around the house somewhere from last years Halloween costume or football tailgate (don’t ask me why bandannas are popular for women to wear at tailgates and football games because I have NO idea why except for they are an instant cute factor!)
TOP
T. Swift was rocking a chambray shirt, which is a huge closet staple, and can be worn with just about anything! This chambray trend started a few seasons ago. The love for chambray tops are not slowing down anytime soon.
So pull out this “go-to” top and add this to the final look!
BOTTOMS
In her look, Taylor was rocking black skinny jeans (without rips), but I decided to wear my black skinnies with holes in the knees. I love that dark wash jeans can be dressed up or down due to their fit and color.
SHOES/ACCESSORIES
Taylor was rocking solid color flats in her look. I went with flats that have a leopard print on them because I wanted to add in my favorite Clare V clutch!
Bonus: You could add any shoe for this final look since you are wearing all neutrals and solid prints (I told you that you could recreate this look!).
When this look is all put together you look like a modern 50’s girl and totally chic!
