I absolutely love acting like a tourist in my own city. Walking around with a camera in my hand or aimlessly driving around to find new location is a weekend norm. When I came across this greenhouse I couldn’t believe I didn’t realize it was located in my own town! There were a colorful array of flowers and plants lining the walkway throughout the entire greenhouse. It was so beautiful. The opening to the greenhouse was my favorite spot, so Savannah and I decided to start shooting a blog post in this location.

I picked up this purple dress from White House Black Market. It is MAJORLY discounted and undeniably pretty. This dress is going to be perfect not only for dressier occasions, but also for wedding season next year (I can’t believe I am planning that far ahead!). The fabric is so lightweight and I love how there is a cinched tie waist for extra definition. This dress will definitely be a closet staple for many seasons to come.

You all may also have noticed in this blog post I recently made my first huge fashion purchase- Chanel Flats. I have been saving up for a little over a year and a half to purchase these shoes and finally made the plunge! I was really hesitant at first, since these flats cost wayyyy more then I am comfortable with, but Chuck finally convinced me to do it since I was constantly talking about them and had the money saved to buy them (check out my blog post here for how I budget my fashion money!). I love them so much and am really happy I decided to buy them. My fashion philosophy has always been saving money is always the way to go, but if you are going to splurge, then handbags and shoes are the way to go. You will get more wear out of those items than anything else!

Thank you so much for stopping by Blush & Camo!

    • Thank you so much beautiful! Oh no, I wear them all the time! I think I am going to have to take your advice and wear them a little less. I already have some scuff marks on them. Happy Monday gorgeous!
