How To Support Bloggers (Without Spending a Dime!)

Welcome back to Blush & Camo! Today’s post I’m breaking down how to support bloggers without having to spend a dime. There’s a common misconception that the only way to support bloggers is by using their affiliate links. For those new to the blogging community, or stopping by a blog, an affiliate code is a link bloggers use to link item’s they are wearing in blog posts and on social media. For every purchase made from that affiliate link the blogger gets a commission.

This is a common practice in today’s era of blogging, and since you can only budget for so many clothes every month, today’s post is breaking down the top ways you can support bloggers without have to spend a dime of your hard earned money!

FOLLOW YOUR FAVORITE BLOGGERS ON SOCIAL MEDIA

This may sound obvious, but following your favorite bloggers on all platforms of social media is a great way to support them without having to spend any type of money. Take a look at their blogs to see what social media platforms they are on and go follow them on all platforms! Many bloggers may post specific content on one platform and post other content on another platform. It’s a great way to get to know them better and supporting their #blogginggoals!

INTERACT WITH THEM ON THEIR BLOG AND SOCIAL MEDIA

I’ve made quite a few friends in the blogging community and when I ask them what their favorite aspect of blogging is it’s not the free PR gifts or having lots of followers on social media; their number one favorite aspect of blogging is interacting with their readers!

Bloggers love it when you comment on their blog posts, Instagram pictures, Insta Stories, etc. The reason for this is because bloggers take a lot of time an effort into the content they post across their various platforms and to hear from readers makes their day!

I also love it when my followers DM me on Instagram with blog post ideas because this is insight into what you want to read about!

My followers have also turned into my friends because of the interaction I’ve had with many of them on a daily basis. So go ahead and double tap that picture on Insta or write a comment about what you love about their content. All bloggers read their comments and take those to heart because they want to create content you genuinely love to see!

REPOST THEIR MATERIAL

This tip is more towards blog posts, but if you see a blog post that you absolutely adore go ahead and repost it! This can also go towards social media platforms too! Retweet and tweet you loved from your fave blogger, Pin one of their blog post pictures to one of your boards on Pinterest, etc.

Bloggers love it when you repost their content because, again, they work super hard on creating content for their tribe of readers and it’s the ultimate compliment when this happens.
