Friday Favorite: Haley from Me and Mr. Jones

Happy FriYAY loves! I am so excited to feature a fellow Seattle blogger babe Haley from Me and Mr. Jones! I met Haley through social media and we clicked instantly! Not only is Haley STUNNING (I had to put all caps!) but her style is amazing! She is able to mix high end brands with less expensive pieces and the outfits always look amazing. Haley loves to wear darker hues and her ability to mix trends while maintaining her own personal style is a styling aspect I truly admire. Her blog is one I go to everyday because I pull some serious #styleinspo from her! Not only is she an amazing blogger but she is also one of the sweetest people I have ever met. I asked Haley a few questions about blogging and this is what she had to say!

Why did you decide to start a blog?

I decided to start a blog to have a creative outlet that was independent of my day job as a photo stylist.  It’s very fulfilling and I’m so happy that I took the leap to start my blog almost one year ago!

How did you come about picking your blog name out?

My college friends and I are always in a group text about whatever is happening in everyone’s lives.  I wish I could take credit for the name, but it was totally my clever girlfriend Emma who thought of it!

What are some of your favorite stores to shop at?

I LOVE Nordstrom, especially now that I live in Seattle!  They have the
most amazing selection and their pop-up shops are so fun.  I also can’t kick my Zappos habit because the free one day shipping is so perfect for those last minute must-haves!  There are too many to name, but I also love Asos, Forever21, and Old Navy.

What is your fashion philosophy?

I believe that whatever you are wearing should make you feel confident and beautiful no matter what.  If it doesn’t, don’t wear it!  When you walk out the door in an outfit that makes you feel good, your day will be brighter,
you will be in a better mood, and you just might meet the man of your dreams (or a new BFF for us married gals)!

What do you enjoy most about blogging?

Meeting other bloggers!  It’s so much fun to get to know other bloggers that live all over the world and come from so many different backgrounds. It’s also a lot of fun to meet and work with photographers whose work you might have always admired.  At the end of the day, making connections with all of these people is so special and makes me excited about blogging every day!

If you could wear an outfit that describes who you are, what would that outfit be?

It definitely depends on the occasion, but I love to dress up!  So I’ll go with a short fit and flare dress with a high neckline, open back, and long sleeves.  A gorgeous statement necklace, strappy pumps, and a fun clutch (I adore Kate Spade!).
