Fourth of July is one of my favorite holidays! I love how patriotic everyone is and the fireworks show at the end of the day. My family used to hold this HUGE fourth of July party when my sister and I were younger and invite a ton of people. My friends and I would play volleyball, run around the street with sparklers, and shove as many ice cream sandwiches into our mouths as our stomachs could handle. At the time I never thought about the true meaning of the Fourth of July and how special our freedoms as American citizens are. I am so thankful for them everyday.
I decided to go the casual cute route for my July fourth outfit! Most people are attending BBQs or doing something outside so I wanted something I could move in but also dress up a bit for the holiday. I immediately fell in love with this dress from Old Navy and the fact that it’s chambray with stars! I kept my accessories simple and finished the look with a pair of gladiator sandals.
