One of my favorite places to go when the weather is warm is the Tacoma Marina. I love taking my morning coffee and walking the trails that overlook the water and look at all the beautiful boats. On clear days I can also see the Olympic Mountain Range and Mount Rainier as the backdrop to this peaceful place. I’ll pick a spot on the rocks (they aren’t as uncomfortable as you might think!) and watch the boats and kayakers in the Puget Sound. No matter what happened during the week, when I come here I always feel calm and relaxed.

On this particular morning I was doing some blog shots with Courtney (my amazing photographer) and I thought this is the perfect day to come down to the Marina since I would have come down here that morning anyways! I decided to wear my favorite midi skirt (first seen in this blog post here) and tie my embellished chambray shirt at the waist to add just a sliver of skin. I have never tried the crop top trend, but I felt relatively covered up with this look and thought it would be appropriate to show just a little skin here. I thought the completed look was romantic and modern at the same time. What do you think of this look?! Would you rock a shirt tied at the waist?! I love love to hear from you in the comments below.

Thank you so much for reading and have a happy Monday:)!
