Yellow Dress

This dress has been a “go to” piece and staple in my wardrobe for three years now (luckily, J. Crew still makes the same version almost every season- and for good reason!). I originally bought this dress to attend Chuck’s Ranger School graduation at Fort Benning. I wanted a classic silhouette, and in a bright color, so Chuck could spot me in the stands during the ceremony. During his training he wasn’t able to see or talk to me for about three months. Basically my goal was to be a classy and stylish walking neon sign when I entered the outdoor ceremony! After searching the internet for awhile I stumbled upon this dress from J.Crew and I knew this was the perfect dress for occasion- and the yellow hue worked! Chuck told me he spotted me right away (I’m pretty sure I had the brightest dress there! Mission accomplished.)! I still wear this dress every spring and summer since the silhouette and color will never go out of style. I added a flower headband and pulled two pieces of hair around my head to form a crown affect on my hair accessory. Since the flowers were trimmed with pink I added these scalloped pink flats to complete the look! What do you think?!
