The trench coat is made of a lightweight material, not heavy wool so it’s perfect for those chillier days while the weather is transitioning into summer. I love this one from Gap because it is the classic version of the trench coat. There are many different takes on this type of coat (fashion likes to mix things up!), and also a variety of colors to include light pink and violet (which I think looks amazing!). I am still building my wardrobe little by little so I wanted to first purchase a timeless silhouette and style of this type of coat. That way I can use this coat every spring until eternity because these coats do NOT go out of style and eventually branch out and buy variations of the trench.

I chose to style this coat with more classic pieces like a striped shirt, a beautiful flat, and a camel colored tote. I chose ripped boyfriend jeans since I thought they gave the outfit a little more edge than just a dark wash skinny jean (although those jeans would also look great!). How would style your trench coat?!

Thank you so much for reading!
