I try and keep my beauty routine for work as simple as possible. I use a total of five products (six if you include Burt’s Bees lip balm). In the picture posted I am wearing a layer of foundation on top of my CC cream and mascara (but my work beauty look does not appear any different when I only use the CC Cream. I just use both for more coverage for my blog pictures.) So here’s the products I use!

First I start with Laura Mercier High Coverage Concealer for Under Eye and apply that directly under my eyes and sometime (depending on how tired I am that day) will extend the coverage onto my check bones which helps for minor contouring later on in my routine! I also will use this to cover up any breakouts I have.

Then, I apply Peter Thomas Roth Camu Camu CC Cream (which has SPF 30 in it) so it helps even out my skin tone AND protects it from the sun (that’s a win in my book!). Some of you may be asking, what is Camu Camu? This ingredient is a very powerful source of vitamin C (to see my skin care regimen click this link here, it has products for vitamin C serum). I try to only use products that multitask throughout the day, and I cannot say enough great things about this product. I usually only use foundation on the weekends or when I am shooting for blog posts!

Third, I apply Laura Mercier Matte Radiance Baked Powder in Highlight 01 right under my eyes (I have pretty bad dark circles under my eyes- I really need to get more sleep!) . I love this product because this makes your skin look radiant. It’s very natural and falls perfectly in line with the no makeup, makeup trend!

Fourth, I add my FAVORITE blush Dior Rosy Glow. This blush actually will adjust itself to match your skin tone and is the perfect shade of pink. I wear this blush everyday, weekday or weekend, and love it so much. Only one swipe of the blush brush in the compact is all your need for a natural glow all day long. Go buy this right now- you won’t regret it!

Lastly, I spray my face with Urban Decay All Nighter Makeup setting spray. This helps to keep everything in place all day and not sink into your pores. There are a ton of products like this on the market, but this is the one that works best with my skin. I usually feel like I wasted my makeup if I don’t use this to set it!

After a swipe of lip balm from Burt’s Bee’s I am ready to take on the day (well, at least go get my morning coffee and take it from there)!
