Hello, Gorgeous! Today I’m sharing the products I use to get ready for blog photoshoots. Getting ready for photoshoots is so much fun and I get to get glam. This is radically different than my day job when I am wearing a uniform, so I think that’s why I enjoy it so much!

I also want to be honest and say that my photoshoots and the photos you see on my social media is my highlight reel. I in no way wake up and look like that (I wish!). It takes me about an hour to get ready and it’s a process. I’m breaking down my hair and makeup products and how I use them to get ready!

I’ve also linked all the items I use throughout the post so you ladies can shop the products I swear by!

Let’s get glam!

HAIR

For my hair I will typically take a shower the night before and then blow dry my hair or let it air dry. For me it doesn’t matter either way. I put more emphasis on the products I put into my hair after I take a shower!

I use the Tresemme Perfectly Undone beach spray to give my hair texture (I cover my hair with this!) and then follow up on the roots with Aveda’s Volumizing Tonic. This gives my hair the perfect amount of volume without going overboard. Then, I spray my hair with Ovation’s thermal protection so if I blow my hair dry or curl it my hair is protected!

When my hair is dry I curl my hair with my Sultra beauty Bombshell wand (linked below!) and ladies I swear by this brand and this product. I’ve used many higher end wands or curling irons sent to me by companies and they were horrible. They did not curl my hair. This wand is perfection.

When I was on my blogger retreat my roommate Laura Beverlin of Styled Adventures  commented on my curls and tried out my wand. She was amazed at the results and said she was buying one as soon as she got home!

Yes, this curling wand it that good and not I’m not being sponsored to say this.

After my hair is complete I’ll use Tresemme Perfectly Undone hair spray!

GETTING ALL MY OUTFITS PREPPED

I batch a few of my outfits together when I shoot for the blog so I will take all those items I have on my bed and pack them into a suitcase. I can usually fit everything into one suitcase, especially in the spring/summer when I don’t wear layers!

It’s always starts out so organized and then looks like a compete disaster by the end of the photoshoot!

These are all the products I use to get ready for my photoshoot and I hope you ladies enjoyed this behind the scenes post!

What do you ladies think of today’s post?! I wold love to hear from you in the comments below. Don’t forget to follow me along on InstagramPinterest, and Facebook for daily style inspo!

Thank you so much for stopping by Blush & Camo!

xx Julianna
