An Easy Holiday Hairstyle

/December 23, 2015

I love wearing my hair in unique ways for the holidays! Today I’m sharing a SUPER simple ponytail up-do guaranteeing some compliments at any holiday party! This hairstyle works best with medium to long hair.

Let’s get started!

How To Create Easy Holiday Hairstyle

1.) Part your hair down the middle (see you’re totally doing this!)

2.) Section off a 1.5 in section of hair on each side of your part. You will leave these sections out of the ponytail until the very end.

3,) With the remainder of your hair take two pieces in the very back of your head and twist a little bit and push your hair up to create volume. You will bobby pin these pieces of hair into place and at the volume you prefer.

4.) Put all hair (except the 1.5 inch sections in the front) in a ponytail and tie with a hair band

5.) Now we will use the sections in the front and incorporate them into the ponytail. Take one small section of hair from one of the sides and cross the hair over the ponytail holder to the other side and twist around the ponytail holder. Keep twisting until you have a little section of hair left and bobby pin that hair underneth your ponytail.

6.) Do the same thing on the other side!

7) You will continue to incprorate the 1.5 inch sections of hair until you have incorporated all the hair into the ponytail.
