The holidays are the perfect time to pull out any wardrobe pieces with sequins! I have been wanting a sequined skirt for FOREVER so when I found this one under $30 I instantly bought it!
Today I’m going to share with you how to wear sequins for the holidays (in two easy steps!) and still look age appropriate. Keep reading to get your holiday style on!
PICK ONE SEQUINED ITEM
You only want to pick one item that will be covered in sequins, like I did in this post today, because this is the focal point of the entire outfit! If you pick more than one item with a ton of sequins on it the two pieces will compete with one another for attention and we don’t want that!
It is also perfectly acceptable to have both a top and bottom with sequins if there’s just a touch of sequins on both. Balance is the key to this first #styletip!
ADD CLASSIC PIECES
For the rest of the look you want to add classic silhouette pieces such as a timeless sweater, black pumps (like I did in this post today!), or a neutral blouse.
Basically, anything you wear season after season will work perfectly!
HAVE FUN WITH STYLING
The last step is to have fun with styling this over all look! If you stick with the two style tips above you can’t go wrong! Happy Holidays!
