Christmas is just around the corner and this is my FAVORITE holiday. I go crazy with decorations, holiday music, and my outfits! This season is all about excess and one of the only times of the year you can get away with tulle skirts, sequins, lace, and bold colors… all in one look. (I’m totally kidding about all this being in one look, but you get what I’m saying!)
Today I’m sharing how to style a classic holiday look you’ll want to wear every season!
PICK A FESTIVE COLOR
For this classic look you’ll want to pick a holiday color like red or green. These colors exude the holidays and are really festive. I choose a red blouse with this gorgeous black lace deatailing!
CHOOSE A FEMININE PEICE… OR TWO;)
The next step is to decide what part of your outfit is going to be ultra feminine. For this look I choose this black skirt which I also wore in this blog post here! I love how full the skirt is and the subtle imprinted lace covering the entire piece! My blouse is also really feminine with the strategically placed lace!
You want a feminine piece for this classic look because this is a holiday where ultra feminine pieces are the norm and we Blush Babes are taking full advantage of this!
ADD A NEUTRAL
To really create an ultra feminine look to wear season after season, and avoid this look becoming to trendy, is to add a neutral hue to balance out the bold color you choose in the first #styletip above! For red hues I recommend black or camel tones, and for green tones I would choose an off white or grey shade!
