Weekly Wrap Up

/December 4, 2015

Happy FriYAY loves! This weekend I am going wedding dress shopping with some of my girlfriends (say whattttt?!?!). This whole experience has just been so surreal and I can’t believe this exciting experience is finally happening. We are going to make a girls day of it and go to brunch and then head to a few appointments! I haven’t exactly decided on the type of style I want in the dress, but I have an idea of what I’m looking for. If any of you gorgeous ladies have any tips for how to find “the dress” I would love to hear from you in the comments below! I can’t really keep a secret so I’m going to try really hard not to tell Chuck anything;).

On the blog this week I stuck with all style posts and each one was different in their own way. Which post did you like the best?! I would love to hear from you in the comments below! I have some VERY exciting things I’m working on for all you Blush Babes and can’t wait to share them with you soon! Make sure you start your Monday off right and head over here for some serious #styleinspo!

Shop some of the pieces I wore this week down below, and I cannot thank you enough for taking time out of your day to read Blush & Camo- You Rock! Have a wonderful weekend!

xx Julianna

  1. Have so much fun on this day! I hope you treasure it forever. I cried when I put on the dress, just because I suddenly saw myself going down the aisle toward my love. I finally realized I was getting married! Tried on about 2 more and everyone encouraged me to go back to that dress. I put it back on and teared up again. My mother, the cheapest thriftiest woman in the world, said, “who cares what it costs. Just get it.”
    Done deal.
    Enjoy!

    • Awwww, I love this story so much! Thank you for sharing it:). I teared up a little yesterday too, and I thought shopping for dresses was so fun and I wasn’t expecting that!

    • Thank you SO much, Kayla for your kind words. They mean so so much! I am sending tons of love your way today and I hope you are having a wonderful weekend!

  2. Wedding dress shopping is so fun! Try on different styles until you find the one that you like the best. After that, try on different variations of the style until you find ‘the dress’. It is so exciting!

    • I totally did this yesterday Erica! I had three appointments and I started trying all all different styles until I found one that I liked and then I tried on different dresses of that style! This is such great advice:)

  3. How exciting?! I know you’ll have a wonderful time brunching and dress shopping! I know you’ll find the perfect dress. It may be hard because I know you’ll make any dress you try on look amazing; it’s YOU that wears it 🙂

I hope you have fun this weekend, beauty!

    • OMG you are seriously the sweetest! Thank you so much for your kind words my gorgeous friend! I hope your weekend is off to an amazing start! Sending you tons of love!

  4. My only advice about trying on wedding dresses is to try many different styles. Don’t go in with the thought,” I only want this in a dress….” Try strapless, with straps, train, no train, lace, no lace, ect. I didn’t do this when I got married and I regret it!

    • That’s what I was thinking but then I was worried I would get confused with all the options! I am definitely going to try this (pun intended;). Have a wonderful weekend, Shell!

  5. Julianna, it sounds like you have a really fun and exciting weekend coming up. I worked in a bridal salon as a personal consultant and honestly as cliche as it sounds…you will just know when you put it on. The one thing I will say is to try a few that you may not think initially are your taste or what you have in mind. You would be surprised how often those options became The One for some clients! Happy shopping and have a wonderful weekend!! 🙂
