Perfect Styling a Winter Romper in 3 Steps

Hello, gorgeous! Today I’m sharing how to style a romper for winter and stay warm! I’m breaking this look into three parts and sharing a bonus style tip (insert emoji praise hands!).

Let’s get started!

CHOOSE A ROMPER

The first (and most obvious) step is to pick a romper! I recommend picking a romper with a darker hue and also has sleeves. I say to pick a darker print because darker shades are very seasonal for winter.

If you are wearing a lighter color or print it will be harder to pull off this look since lighter shades exude more of a spring/summer vibe to the overall look (but I know as a Blush Babe you could totally pull this off! Remember, there are no rules in fashion, just guidelines!).

ADD FAUX FUR

I added this faux fur vest as a layering piece, hold in heat, and add an overall winter feel to this outfit! I didn’t want to cover up the romper so I opted not to wear a coat and chose a vest instead.

COVER YOUR LEGS

Since a romper is a jumpsuit with shorts it is important to keep your extremities as warm as possible (we are rocking shorts after all!). OTK boots are such a popular trend this season, and cover large portions of your legs, I decided to wear these shoes as my way to stay warm with this look.

BONUS STYLE STIP: If OTK boots are not enough coverage wear tights under your romper and add booties instead! This look is still ridiculously cute (and  maybe a little warmer)!

  1. This whole post is perfect. First off, I LOVE your hair, you should do a tutorial, because it looks great. Also the romper stands out so well against the color of the leaves. Great post!!

  2. I love this outfit! Great styling and whoever is your photographer, tell him/her that they take beautiful photos. Absolutely gorgeous!

  3. Such a beautiful pairing, Julianna! I love the tips, as always. Rompers are not only fun to wear during the spring and summer, but during the fall and winter, too! Like you said, it’s just a matter of adding some key warm pieces and you’re good to go! I also love how warmer accessories transform and darken the whole vibe.

I hope you have a wonderful day, beautiful!
