On the day Courtney and I were shooting some looks for the blog it was a gorgeous day outside. So it was a no brainer to drive down to my favorite area in the city and take some pics by the water. I had this dress for awhile and decided to pair it with my military jacket (since I don’t have enough military items already…totally kidding!). I love the look of shorter layers with longer ones. In the winter this is super easy to style since you are always bundled up in an array of clothes, but with summer clothes there aren’t too many opportunities to create this layering effect. I knew my “jacket days” were limited with the string of warmer temps here in the pacific northwest, so I threw on this jacket and added my fedora. To top of the look I added my trusted converse for more of a low key vibe. What do you think of this final look?!

Thank you so much for stopping by!
