I love the simplicity of this shift dress, and the quote in french (love is life) adds some edge to the overall look. You can’t tell from the picture but this dress is made from an extremely soft fabric which feels amazing on the skin! It was pretty warm out when I was shooting with Courtney, so I decided to just opt for the dress and not any layering pieces. I added my favorite booties and (of course) a floppy hat to finish out the look. I decided to keep the accessories simple with gold dainty jewelry and my “go to” leopard print clutch. What is your opinion of the overall look? Is wearing black during spring or summer a “do” or “don’t” in your opinion? Let me know in the comments below!

Thanks so much for reading!

  1. I love this look! It might be my favorite yet, and that is saying a lot! I agree with you, black has a rightful place in any wardrobe no matter the season.
